Skyrim Mods

When it comes to Skyrim Mods there are probably hundreds, maybe even thousands. I myself cannot keep track of all of them. In fact there are so many that it can be overwhelming, especially if you want a specific one. Upon discovering the endless supply of mods that have been created to go along with Skyrim, I have found it very easy to find the ones that are interesting. The top 10 pages (or Top 25, Top 5, etc). These websites, blogs, polls are a good way to narrow your search to find a mod that would best “tickle your fancy”. I myself enjoy the way Gamespot relays the information about what they consider to be the "Top 5". The most recent one included a mod called Handyman. This was a neat little mod that allows your hero to use anything in the game as a weapon. For a demonstration they used a broom. It was actually quite humorous.

The other 4 mods you’ll have to check out on your own. I highly recommend them. Again, thank you Gamespot for your excellence.
A  note to all you Skyrim lovers, these mods are for the PC. Unfortunately those of us who prefer the Playstation or Xbox are out of luck this time.

(Right: He is beating the snot out of a civilian with his... broom.)

Note that this is not the entire video, this is only a portion of it. However, it shows some pretty cool stuff!!

Emulators

All you fans of mobile gaming, this one is for you. If you have a smart phone you can download "emulators" which are programs that allow you to run what are called "roms". Roms are your favorite games from the nintendo 64 up through the gameboy and possibly beyond.  In the Android market place there are quite a few developers who have uploaded quite a few good ones. In my own personal experience I have used some by John Emulators and Bubble zap games. The only down fall is the roms. Most are downloaded from the internet but you occasionally can find them through your mobile device. You just google whatever rom you want then plug in your smart phone and download them onto your phone. I plan to add more info on this I'm the near future. For now though I'm off to lunch!

Edit: Also look into Mupen Emulators. There are quite a few of them out there that are based off of this one. I haven't looked into it but, I intend to!! February 26, 2012 6:55 P.M

Portable N64?!?

So, I was surfing the web when I came across multiple websites that had either links, videos, pictures, articles, etc. About making a nintendo 64 portable. I thought this was an ingenious idea and I, myself would enjoy embarking on a quest to make my own. How cool would it be to have your own unique portable n64?

This is only one of many different home made models. Pretty neat huh?

I intend to do more research on this subject and will post more blogs about it. I’m waiting for someone to come up with a portable Gamecube.

Beginnings

Throughout my life one thing that I have always enjoyed is picking up a handheld/ controller and sitting down and playing a video game. Through this blog I aim to enlighten, entertain, and explain any thing and everything about gaming as a whole.
